Stephanie is admitted to practice in Maryland and West Virginia and focuses her practice in the areas of handling all family/domestic law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support (alimony), paternity, adoption, grandparent rights, father’s rights, guardianship/conservatorship, and social services involvement. Further, a large portion of Stephanie’s caseload is dedicated to defending the rights of those charged with crimes.  Stephanie also maintains a general legal practice for civil matters such as personal injury, wills/estates, contracts, landlord/tenant matters. Stephanie recently relocated to the Eastern Shore of Maryland and is accepting new clients in the counties of Caroline, Dorchester, Kent, Queen Anne’s, Somerset, Wicomico and Worcester.

Ms. Scales-Sherrin graduated from the Charleston School of Law in Charleston, South Carolina, with a law degree in 2007 & holds a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology from West Virginia University.
